Heather's Comments ~~ Ed's Comments
Ed came home from working overnight and brought home yummy bagels for our breakfast. ** It's nice having a Dunkin Donuts right on the way home! ** Brandon woke up, ate his bagel, and got ready for school. (He just started 6th grade/Middle school last week). The roofing company came out to inspect our new roof, and collect payment. ** And their name is Duncan Roofs! HaHa! ** Afterwards Ed and I ate our bagels and visited with Brandon before he had to go to school. We watched him get on the bus, and then finished packing and getting ready to head to DISNEY WORLD. ** I never thought I would be this nervous getting ready to go to of all places....DISNEY WORLD! **
My mom and dad stopped by to say a quick "Hello" and Goodbye". We packed up the truck, locked up the house and got on the road. After filling the truck up with gas, we were headed to Disney by 11:30am. The traffic was steady but not too bad on I-4. We were on Disney property by 12:45pm!

We arrived at my favorite resort, The Beach Club!! We went inside and Ed checked in while I relaxed in the lobby. ** This was my first time at this particular resort and it certainly made me feel like I was back in Massachusetts (where I'm originally from) on the Cape! As I was checking in, I was telling the Cast Member at the front desk that I was going to propose to my Girlfriend this weekend.....she asked the details and I told her.....she wanted to see the ring, but I had it packed away. **
As we walked holding hands back out to the truck to go park it, Art (the greeter at the Beach Club) said to us "It's so wonderful to see couples in love".
We parked the truck and walked around the resort. We stopped at Beaches & Cream for lunch. ** Talk about a fun atmosphere and it was nice just being there with Heather! **
Here is Ed sitting at an Icecream Table outside waiting to be seated inside.

After waiting about 15-20 minutes we were seated at a table for two! We ordered cheeseburgers and fries and I got a cherry coke! the past few months before this trip we had been eating very healthy...this was our weekend for"good" food!!).

After lunch we walked around the Yacht Club. We looked in the gift shop and I found my Beauty and the Beast snow globe that I wanted so badly but couldn't find anywhere. (you may remember me mentioning this in a previous trip report...see "Brandon's 11th bday trip report"). I was SOOO happy to have found this, I bought it right away!! ** Sometimes Disney magic will show up in the most unsuspecting places.....I was also very happy she finally found this particular snow globe....I've tried to find one online for the past several months! ** This was a great start to our weekend!
At 3pm our room still was not ready, so we looked in the Beach Clubs gift shop for a bit and then sat down in the Atrium.

The gift shop had been redone since my last visit here. It was much bigger, and had a nice little counter service snack bar area. They served lunch, desserts, and even breakfast sandwiches and yogurt. Our room was ready by 3:45 pm! YEAH!!! ** WHOO HOO!! ** We went to get our luggage and find our room. We were on the 4th floor, right next to the back elevator. It felt like we had our own personal elevator for the whole trip.
We took some pictures of the room before we messed it up with all our stuff and then unpacked.

The bed and pillows were soooo comfortable!!!!

After everything was put away we took a break and just took in the fact that we were at the Beach Club.
Around 5:30pm we decided to go to the Boardwalk.

We took the boat to the Boardwalk and looked around in the shops. I started feeling a bit shaky and needed to eat. It was around 6:45pm. So we took the friendship boat to Epcot. We headed straight to get Fish & Chips!!! ** My first time eating the Fish & Chips...I was looking forward to it and it was worth every bite! ** We sat overlooking Showcase Lagoon and shared an order of fish and chips.

It was so nice and peaceful there. One of those "quiet" moments that you don't expect to find at Disney with all the rushing going on.
We walked around the World Showcase area. My foot started hurting and swelling up pretty bad, so we took a break near China. We just sat and people watched! Next up was Norway. The ride had a 40 minute wait, so we decided to get something sweet in the bakery. We got a Sweet Pretzel and a Cloudberry Horn. ** I just love the good sweets at Kringla Bakeri Og Kafe! ** We shared them both and they were really good.
Ed bought me a lighted rose, and I kept it on the rest of the time at Epcot!! ** I really wanted to give Heather flowers at some point on this trip...but with the heat and our full schedule, I wasn't sure how I was going to pull it off (I even had the Disney Florist number handy just in case). Then I remembered I've seen the light up roses sold through out Disney and thought that would be perfect for a night like tonight! ** We walked to Mexico and took the boat ride. I always love this little ride. It was nice riding it with Ed and just relaxing!
We walked to Canada hoping to run into some friends from Mouse House. We watched Illuminations from Canada, and it was a pretty good view! Afterwards,we found a bench to sit on and relax as the crowds were leaving. It was extra magic hours, and we had already got our wrist bands just in case we wanted to stay late. Poor Ed was falling asleep sitting up at this point, he hadn't slept since the day before, and had worked all night!!! ** The excitement of this weekend is what kept me going..I think I had 9 second winds and spent them all! ** After the crowds thined out a bit, we made our way to the back exit of Epcot. We were going to take the boat back to the Beach Club, but the lines were so long and I knew the walk wouldn't be too long. So even though my foot was really hurting, I decided that we should just walk. It only took a few minutes to get to our resort, and as we were walking Brandon called again. He was still at the Rays game and was having a great time there with Papa.
We got to the room, and Ed got more ice for me. I put some in zip lock bags and propped my foot up with the ice. We ate one of the Kit Kats that we bought at Epcot. ** These were not just any Kit Kat's...but Nestle Kit Kats (the original that Hershey makes under the license from Nestle). I discovered these while in Toronto Canada a few years ago and have only been able to find them at Epcot at $2.24 a bar! However they are worth every cent!** Brandon called again to tell me that the Rays lost, then told me he was just joking. They actually won the game!! He was very happy.
After the call we got settled in bed, meaning my foot was propped up just so with the ice bags just right, my book, my magazines, my water and my jounal and pen, and even tissues were all within my reach, we could relax! LOL Ed fell asleep before his head hit the pillow!! He was soooo tired!! I don't know how me made it through the whole day without sleep!! I think it was excitement about this trip! He planned it all himself (with help from my sister Amanda, of course!!!! ). ** Thanks again Amanda for all of your help!! ** I wrote all about our first day of the trip in my journal, then read my book for a bit and fell asleep!!
**** It was such a nice day!! I loved seeing Ed so excited about the trip and watching him enjoy the day. It is such a wonderful thing to be able to share the joy and excitement of Disney with the person that you love!!! I love the Beach Club, and it felt so relaxing just being around the resort. The weather was great today, and we really enjoyed our time together there! ****
**** I had such a nice day as well! Despite being nervous and wanting everything to go perfectly this weekend...I was so happy seeing Heather enjoy herself and share in the excitement of Disney! ****
We woke up at 9am and "snoozed" the alarm. The bed and pillows were the most comfortable I have ever slept in. ** I thought I was sleeping on a cloud in heaven it was sooooo comfortable! ** Through out the whole trip we tried to come up with ways to make the bed fit into the back of the truck. (BTW, we never did figure it out. ha!) We took our time getting ready. We watched the news and weather (50% chance of rain and storms this afternoon!) ** I was a little nervous about the weather situation as it seems I have a tendency to get rained on at Disney and I was hoping it wouldn't happen this time! ** We wanted to swim this afternoon, after our breakfast.
We had a 10:30 ADR (advanced dining reservation) at Cape May Cafe for Goofy's buffet breakfast!!!!! We got right in and right after being seated our favorite character appeared.....GOOFY!!

We took our pictures with Goofy, gave our drink orders, and went to get our food. We ate a little bit of everything. That is what I like about the buffet meals, you can try things you normally wouldn't , and can have just a little bit of everything. We tried cheese omelets, bacon, sausage, biscuits (and i tried biscuits and gravy for the first time, it was good!) Breakfast pizza (again another first for me, and was great!). Oh, and we can't forget about Mickey Waffles! All the food was good! Of course I had to color and draw on the table! They put down a big piece of white paper on the table, and supply crayons!!

Chip and Minnie Mouse came around for pictures.

I also loved watching the character interact with the kids!! There was one little baby girl, and chip actually held her for awhile while the family took pictures. It was too cute!!!
After breakfast we stopped in the gift shop to get water, candy for later, and a refillable mug. We went back to the room and sat on the balcony for a few minutes. It was raining out (not too hard really) and we just decided to skip the swimming for today. Tonight was my surprise dinner and we wanted to be relaxed for that!! We watched some TV, I took the time to write a bit more in my journal and relax. ** Call it relaxing if you want....but I had my mind running full steam......the weather....The ADR's.....and everything In between!! **
At 1pm we took a walk to the Yacht Club to look around, and walk off some of our breakfast. We looked around the Wedding Gazebo there. Then we headed to the gift shop again and Ed bought some Disney Pins. He bought one that said "Princess" for me!! We bought Brandon a gift and then headed back to the Beach Club and looked around the shop again. We bought something else for Brandon (is he spoiled or what??? ha!)
It was time to head back to the room to get ready for the big surprise dinner. ** OH MY GOD! ** We had brought my iPod and the speakers for it, so the whole weekend we had disney and other music to listen to. We sat and listened to the music before we got ready, and Ed told me which park we were going to for my dinner. THE MAGIC KINGDOM!!! Now to find out where.......!
Now, I knew that the proposal would happen this weekend. I actually got to pick the ring out quite a few months ago. We had such a wonderful time picking it out, and just knew when we found the right one! I knew that Ed wanted to make this proposal special, and what could be more special than a Disney Fairytale Engagement?? I did not know when, or where it would take place, that was "my surprise". So, at this point on Saturday, Ed decided to tell me which park we were going to, so I'd know how much time I needed to get ready. ** And I also wanted to make sure we got there in time as well and who else but Heather would know about getting around Disney! **
At 3:PM we took turns getting ready, I did my hair and make up and we got dressed. We needed to leave the room no later than 4:45 to take Disney transportation. To say we were both a bundle of nerves sounds crazy, but we were! Haha! Right when we got to the bus area, the MK bus was pulling away. ** OH MY GOD!! ** Now we were worried! We waited about 20 minutes and another bus appeared. Yeah!! Only problem, the closer we got to the MK, the darker the clouds got!!!
We got to the MK pretty quickly. (yes, as my luck goes, our DELUXE bus headed allllllllllll the way to the END OF THE BUS AREA TO THE ALL STARS BUS PICK UP!! Lots more walking, and we are trying to beat the rain!) Anyways, we get out, "Disney Power Walk" to the security area and ticket area and continue the power walk down main street.
"Happiest Celebration On Earth" How did they know that we were about to celebrate??

Its going to POUR DOWN RAIN any minute! Ed does stop to tell me that......"We are eating dinner at Cinderella's Royal Table inside the Castle!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Woo hoo!!!! ** I figured we had time to get there before it rained, but I wanted her to know so we would be off in the right direction and it was also nice seeing the happy/surprised look on her face when I told her! ** We continue to power walk, and stop to take a picture in front of the castle before we went in.

Cinderellabration was going on, so we had to walk around the castle. I don't remember ever walking so fast! I was dragging poor Ed all the way, so we wouldn't get rained on! hahaha
We made it just in time, and Ed went to check in while I pondered over the menu and watch all the people running around to get under cover. ** At this point while I was checking in, the manager was waiting on us (since it was only a couple minutes until our reservation time). I decided to hand off the ring to the manager as Heather had her back towards us (and I had to do this at some point during the meal anyways.) Heather thought I had the ring the whole time we was there! I was so nervous I paid no attention to where we was supposed to go....only that we were to have our picture taken with Cinderella! **
Ed comes over, looking kind of dazed to me, and says "We need to go to the front of the castle to get our picture taken with Cinderella.".
Huh? I'm not walking in the rain all the way back to where we just came from to get a picture with the Princess. Thanks but no thanks! LOL Turns out, we were supposed to proceed through the doors and go IN the castle to get our picture taken. Makes more sense to me!! ** Me Too! **
We get in line and take our picture with Cinderella, and then sit and wait to be called. And wait and wait, and wait some more. At one point it was Me, Ed, Cinderella and the camera man!
Finally it is our turn, and we get to take the elevator up!! (Did castles really have elevators???)
We get seated at a nice little table for two, overlooking the rest of the restaurant. We ordered our drinks, and then just sat and stared at each other!! I was nervous for me, and for him!! ** And I was just plain NERVOUS!! ** We looked over our menus to try to decide what we wanted. ** Easier said than done! **

Our drinks were served, along with pretzel rolls and spread. I usually could eat at least a few of these, but was only able to eat one. Our BLT salad was served and we ate it during the Celebration with the Fairy Godmother and Perla and Susie. ** Just to show how nervous I was...I usually don't eat onions...and the BLT salad was FULL of them and I was just eating away at the salad, knowing what's about to happen very soon......Heather finally informed me about the onions and all I could say is "euwww!" That was enough of that salad! ** I got a laugh out of that!!! I couldn't believe he didn't taste all those onions!!!!!!!!

Poor Ed looked so nervous, and kept looking around! ** The manager informed me while I was checking in, that she would be looking over at us from time to time and If I had any questions or concerns to make eye contact with her.....at one point I accidently did make eye contact and she gave me a thumbs up to see if everything was ok. I tried very hard to nod my head to her without Heather seeing me signaling her that all was well at our little table! **
Our entree came out, Chicken for me and Prime Rib for Ed.

I ate part of my chicken, and it was very good. Ed seemed to be able to eat quite a bit of his meal! Now ask him if he remembers any of it!! ** I thought for a moment I was eating steak in Canada! I really don't remember this meal much at all...cause I knew what was coming once it was over and the table cleared! **
I had no idea when he was going to ask, or even if this was the place he was going to ask me. The waiter came out a few times and asked Ed if he was done, but Ed stated he would work on his plate for a bit more. ** I really was done and never touched another bite...I just wanted a few more minutes to gather my thoughts and get ready to ask "the" question! ** We sat and talked for a few minutes, and then the waiter took away our plates and cleaned up the table.
** I was watching the waiter, the manager and a Disney photographer walking towards our table behind Heather and I knew this was it...I pretended like I was getting something out of my pocket right before the waiter put the special covered dish on the table! **
Then he brought out a special covered dish. He said "Here is something that was specially ordered for you", and he lifted the lid off. OHHHHHHH......

** This is my favorite picture of the moment! It made all of the planning worth it. I loved seeing Heather that happy & pleasantly surprised! **

There was a glass slipper on rose petals. In the slipper was a rose, and MY RING around the rose!!!!! I was SO surprised by this! (I thought he had the ring in his pocket the whole time). ** I knew she was really gonna love the ring presentation! **
All of a sudden, Ed was down on one knee in front of me, a photographer was there, the manager was there, and I think the waiter too. All I remember hearing was "Sweetness, I love you and............ _______.......Will you marry me?" I don't even remember saying "Yes" but I know that I did.
(Look closely and you can see Ed holding the ring. "Will you marry me...)

I heard the women around us say "Ahhhhh" and then lots of clapping and lots of camera flashes!! What Ed actually said was " Sweetness, I love you soooo much and I want to spend the rest of my life with you. Will you marry me?" (now that he has said it again, I DO remember all that!!) He did so good too!! He didn't mumble, or stutter or anything. He looked right in my eyes and said it with so much confidence!!! Every thing was such a blur. It was like everyone else disappeared and it was just me and Ed there. It was so perfect!! ** This has to be the most happiest moment of my life! **

The slipper was taken away, before I even knew that it was MINE!! It was engraved to say on one side "Happily Ever After" and the other side "Heather & Ed, 8/19/06". The Disney photographer took some more pictures of us.
This is one of my favorite pictures:

The waiter brought out drinks to "toast" our engagement. In special Cinderella Royal Table flutes. We actually received two of these as part of the package!!! So now we'll always have two great reminders of this dinner, the glass slipper and flutes.

After the drinks, our desserts were brought out! WOW, is all I can say. Not only does it look good, it tasted very good. The slipper was solid white chocolate!!
It says "Will you marry me?"

Ed had the same dessert, however his plate had chocolate hearts on his!! ** And I was able to sit back and ENJOY this dessert with my sweet Fiance! ** While we were eating, the manager came out to congratulate us, and to give us the bag with our goodies in it. The glass slipper, our flutes, the ring box, and a Disney Pin for me and Ed. It has Mickey on one knee proposing to Minnie, with the ring behind his back. The photographer came back out to take a few more pictures.

We enjoyed all the congratulations from everyone, and just sat back and enjoyed the moment. I was so happy!!!! Ed worked so hard to make this so special and it was. It was such a magical proposal, and so romantic!!!
We gathered up our things and headed outside. The rain had just stopped and it was actually nice out side. Breezy and cool, and no humidity. We stopped to get our picture taken in front of the castle again, since it was still kinda light outside, and now that we were ENGAGED!!! As it turns out, the same women who took our first pictures outside in front of the MK was right there! She said "Back again??" Ed said "Yep, WE JUST GOT ENGAGED AT THE CASTLE". She took some more pictures of us and made us kiss in one of them.

We then made our way over to the TTA. This was the one ride we wanted to ride right after we got engaged!!

We didn't have much time for any rides, since Ed had planned a 2nd part of our engagement celebration!! ** Once again I got a little nervous with the time, but seeing that we didn't really have far to go...I had no worries...just when should I tell Heather what the other big event was! ** We walked back down Main Street, took the monorail to the Contemporary and got off. This is when Ed told me we were going on a special Wishes Fireworks Cruise!!!!!!!!!!
The weather was so perfect as we waited out side for our captain. ** Talk about a perfect night for a nice boat ride on the water and a grand fireworks show to end the evening with my new Fiance! ** We just stood there reliving our dinner and engagement, and just being so content and happy. Our captain Jennifer came over to greet us, took care of the payment and we were on our way! After we got out in the lake, she stopped to get us drinks and snacks. She also admitted this was her first fireworks cruise that she drove!!! She took us all around Ft. Wilderness and Wilderness Lodges. Then around to the Poly. We told her we wanted to get married at Sunset Pointe which is on the Polynesian Resort property. She slowed down there and talked about what a great view of the Castle we will have from the spot! We went by the Grand Floridian, and then she got in a great spot so we could see the fireworks.
It was so amazing to be out there!! Our boat was able to play the music from the fireworks, and this just made it even better! We sat back together and relaxed and watched the Wishes Fireworks from the Magic Kingdom. It was like our own private fireworks show. It was so romantic and perfect for just the two of us to be there and be in that moment. What a way to celebrate our Fairytale Engagement!!!!!!!
** It was such an enjoyable Wishes Fireworks Cruise, not only for the perfect weather, but also to enjoy it together with that perfect Sweetness of a Fiance Heather! I couldn't have asked for anything better or romantic! **
After the fireworks she dropped us off at the Grand Floridian. (this is where she works as a lifeguard). We figured this would be the quickest way to get back "home". She took a picture of us when we docked at the GF.

Then we were on our way! We walked through the GF and upstairs to catch the monorail. We then got off at the MK, and walked to the Beach Club bus area. The wait wasn't very long for the bus and then we were on our way to the resort.
We got to the room and unpacked all our goodies. This was the first time I really got to look at the Glass Slipper and saw the engraving on it. Ed and I exchanged cards, and then I gave him a small gift I bought for him.
Here is a picture of the boxes of goodies, and the turndown service.

After taking pictures of the goodies, we sat out side on the balcony. We enjoyed the peace and quiet of the resort. We discussed the evening, and how perfect everything was. We must have said "fiance" about a million times. "I love you, my fiance". " Can you pass me the water, my fiance". Hahaha!! It was so amazing to realize it was finally happening, and how it happened. I could not have dreamed up a more perfect evening/ proposal. ** After all the planning, it was nice to see it all play out for real and see the reactions of Heather and how much she enjoyed the evening! **
I had a hard time deciding if I should wear my ring to bed or not. I had always taken my promise ring off at home, right when I got home every day. I decided to be on the safe side and take it off so I wouldn't loose it in my sleep!
We set the alarm to go off the night before for 9am. I woke up at 8 am and wanted my ring back on!
We took our time getting up, knowing that we had to check out today. We talked about our plans for the day. We decided to go downstairs to get some breakfast before we started to pack up our things. We both got the egg and cheese croissant, and I got O.J. and Ed got coffee. We brought it back to our room and eat it out on the balcony.

It was so pretty and blue outside. It was so wonderful and relaxing to be sitting out there enjoying breakfast with my fiance! ** I was going to say the same thing...how nice it was having breakfast sitting outside with "my" Fiance! ** I had to cut over half the egg off my breakfast sandwich, it was way too much. It was very good though.
View from our room:

We took some pictures of my ring while we were sitting out side, of course none of them show it very well! LOL

We went back inside to pack up all our things. It didn't really take too long to finish this. We put on our matching T-shirts, designed by "TravelinGal". The picture at the top of the page is now our "official Engagement Logo" and the same that was used on the shirts!! ** She did a great job on the logo! Not only did they look good on the shirts, I also had some stuff made up on Cafe Press using the logo as well! Nice Job TravelinGal!!!**
We took our luggage to the truck and loaded it up. We walked back through the resort and made our way to Epcot. We stopped to take some pictures of the resort, and had someone take a picture of us! ** It was so nice at the Beach Club Resort, I hated to leave! **

We went and watched the movie in France and then slowly made our way to Canada. We watched O Canada and then went to check in at Le Cellier for our lunch. We were about a half hour early but that was not a problem. We sat inside to wait for our table, and the staff noticed our shirts!! The girls thought our engagement was so romantic, and they wanted to check out my ring! They made such a big deal over it, and one girl said she wanted to take a picture of it to mail back home to her boyfriend saying that is what she wanted! They even made the guy working there look at it and take note!
We were seated and our waiter congratulated us. He saw us holding hands and asked if we were just married. Ed told him the story of the engagement. It was so cute. Ed was always quick to announce that we had just been engaged!! I loved it!! ** I was just so proud to be engaged to Heather my Sweetness! **
Here is a close up look at our shirts:

We decided to order the Canadian Cheddar Cheese Soup since everyone raves about it. We used it to dip our bread sticks in and it was really good!! Next we ordered "our" meal. New York Strip Steak and Cream Cheese Mashed Potatoes. So good!! ** It was nice to enjoy our favorite meal at our favorite eating spot, fully relaxed knowing the whole weekend was so perfect! **

We enjoyed eating lunch in "our place" and just enjoyed calling each other "Fiance".
After lunch, our waiter brought out complimentary champagne to toast our engagement! He also gave us a Magical Moments certificate that the staff had signed with well wishes and congrats!! We thought that was really sweet!! ** I knew something was up when he had to write down our names because their computers were "down"....I didn't say anything to Heather at the time, because I didn't want to be mistaken. **

We took some pictures of the gardens outside, they are always so beautiful!!

We walked to the "Big Ball" or Spaceship Earth. I don't know why, but this has become "our ride" and we have to ride it each time we are at Epcot! A cast member noticed our shirts as we were getting on the ride and congratulated us on our engagement. We took some pictures outside at the entrance to Epcot and then got on the monorail.
We went to the Polynesian resort to see the spot where we are going to get married!!!!!!!!!!! Ed has never been there before, so it was great to be able to show him around the resort. ** I was really excited too see Poly and Sunset Pointe in person! ** We walked past the pool, and followed the path to Sunset Pointe. It was so beautiful!! The weather was perfect and the view was awesome. You can see the Castle from there! You can hear the waves washing ashore. You can hear the train from the Magic Kingdom and the ferry boats go by. All the "Disney Sounds" that we love. It was so exciting to be there and know that is where we are going to be married!!!! We knew without a doubt that this was the place for us to get married!!!!! It is so "us"!!!
Here are some of the pictures that we took there.
A waterfall on the way outside from the lobby:

The view we will see as we are getting married:

The view as we are walking away after the wedding ceremony:

It was very hot that day, so we headed back inside to catch the monorail. As we were walking through the lobby, they were handing out complimentary cookies! ** what a Yummy surprise! ** We got on the monorail and headed to the MK. One family that got on at the Grand Floridian stop noticed our shirts, and as we got off at the MK stop, they congratulated us!!
When we got to the MK, the afternoon parade was going on. I looked at it for a minute, but i wanted to go look at our engagement photos!! (they were put on a photo pass). The two guys working there had fun looking at them with us. It was so hard to choose which ones to get!!! We ended up buying the CD and the rights to the pictures so we could get them printed anywhere we wanted to. So we got ALL the pictures!!!
We rode the TTA one last time. We took one more picture of the MK before we had to leave.

It was already after 2 or 3pm and we needed to drive home still. We took the bus back to the Beach Club to get to our truck. We said "goodbye" to the beach club and headed back home. Trying to get out of Disney was a mess (with the "detours") but we made it!!! We did run into some horrible rain on the way and had to drive 20mph or less with our flashers on! When we made it home the weather was fine.
We walked in the door at home to see a "HAPPY ENGAGEMENT" banner,

A HUGE diamond ring balloon.

A "congrats Heather & Ed" cake (with purple flowers of course).
A cute card from the "whole family". I think that it finally hit me that I'm getting married and that I am a bride to be, when I saw a tote bag with "Here Comes the Bride" on it!!

There was confetti on the table, and Cinderella napkins and plates.

My mom and Brandon embroidered a sign that says "Heather & Ed Engaged 8/19/06". Brandon is proud that he helped make it!

Also received two beach chair picture frames, a small wedding cake candle and a wedding dress card holder.

That was so nice to come home to, it helped carry the engagement celebration home with us!! ** I was the first one to walk into the house and see the decorations! What a nice surprise to come home to after a great weekend! **
We went to pick up Brandon, who was staying with my mom and sister. We brought the picture CD over to their house so they could see the pictures! We went back home and looked at all the pictures from my camera also. Finally we were so tired we fell asleep before our heads hit the pillow!!!
I can't say enough about how wonderful this whole weekend was!!! I couldn't have dreamed a better engagement. It was romantic, magical and full of Disney Pixie Dust!! Ed planned and worked so hard on this trip and he did an awesome job!!! It was all so perfect!! I'm so glad the Disney photographer was there to get the actual "will you marry me" moment!! The resort that we stayed at was beautiful and we love it so much that we want to spend part of our "Disneymoon" there!!!
Thank you, my love, for such a wonderful weekend!!! It will be a weekend that I will never forget!!
** You are welcome my Princess Sweetness Fiance! It was a great weekend spending it with you and asking your hand in marriage! It's a weekend I will never forget! I'm happy that you had a great time as well! Oh, and I'm also glad you said: "YES"! **
Next up: DISNEY WEDDING PLANNING!! Keep an eye out for our new wedding webpage, coming soon.
